Brett Bernstein is a visionary business leader and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience creating innovative, customer-focused organizations across healthcare, human services, and technology. As Founder and CEO of MORIAH Health Inc, Brett leads the strategic direction and growth of the company, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outpatient health services that prioritize patient outcomes and community impact.
Brett first founded MORIAH Cooperative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children with communication and social challenges. Through MORIAH Cooperative, he championed programs that foster inclusion, skill development, and family support, leveraging community partnerships and best practices in governance. Building on this mission, Brett later launched Jigsaw Developmental Services, an organization focused on improving the lives of children with special needs through evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
In addition to his work in human services, Brett has extensive experience in technology and clinical informatics. He has led projects involving FDA regulatory compliance, HIPAA standards, and clinical research informatics, including designing secure cloud-based infrastructures for telemedicine and autism spectrum disorder assessments. His expertise spans data quality, security, and privacy, ensuring systems meet stringent regulatory requirements while enabling innovation in healthcare delivery.
Brett serves as a Board Member, Executive Committee Member, and Treasurer for New Way Academy, a school committed to empowering students with learning differences. With dual degrees in Management Information Systems and Finance from the University of Arizona, Brett combines strategic vision with operational excellence. His passion for building organizations that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives is at the heart of MORIAH Health’s mission.
Dr. Veronica Poore is a licensed psychologist that was born and raised in Arizona. She comes from a multicultural family and earned her Bachelor's of Science in Family Studies and Human Development from Arizona State University in 2006. After several years of work experience and pursuing other life goals, she began working towards her Doctorate. In 2015, Dr. Poore earned her Doctorate of Psychology from Argosy University with an emphasis in School Psychology. She completed an APPIC internship, receiving both didactic and clinical based training in an educational environment. After working in the field for several more years, she earned her Arizona board licensure in 2023.
Dr. Poore has over 10 years of experience evaluating, diagnosing, and recommending services for children, adolescents, and their families. She specializes in psycho-educational and comprehensive developmental evaluations for children of all ages. Additionally, Dr. Poore is knowledgeable in other diagnostic services for both adolescents and adults, and over the past two years has also extended diagnostic services to adults across the lifespan with varying medical and mental health disabilities. With experience in many different fields including customer service, corporate facilities, financial institutions, and behavioral health, Dr. Poore is a firm believer that each experience brings on new learning opportunities. It is her intention to incorporate those lessons into everyday practice.
Dr. Poore is very passionate about working with children and collaborating with families to identify needs and provide supportive guidance through the assessment and diagnostic process. She uses evidenced-based practices and measures of assessment through a comprehensive evaluation procedure, and prefers to take an individualized approach in order to provide service recommendations that help with overall development progress for those in need. Dr. Poore enjoys working in a team based environment that provides outreach and diagnostic services, while taking an empathetic and supportive approach so that families can feel heard and welcome. She joins MORIAH Health with excitement to continue providing expansive diagnostic services for families, while remaining a lifelong student in the psychological field of practice.
